Mitzi's Message: Taking Action
Last month, I promised that I would form my thoughts around reproductive thoughts and share them with you in this newsletter. I have always contended that women’s health is significantly impacted by policy and legislation, whether that be through addressing reproductive health, access to care through insurance, or the amount of money appropriated to women's health research. But the most pressing issue today is the impending decision of Roe v Wade, as this ruling could have far-reaching implications not only on reproductive health rights and women's health, but also in regards to privacy considerations, workforce issues, and even investment in healthcare companies.
I wanted to find a way to highlight these issues for our community and others so that we can understand these implications, know how to take action, protect ourselves, and be equipped with critical knowledge. As a result, I decided to host a webinar focused on the unpredicted consequences of the pending Roe v Wade decision. Notably, every guest I reached out to was enthusiastic to be part of this event.
I invite you to join me for this webinar, Aftershocks: Predicting the Unexpected Consequences of the Roe v Wade Decision, on July 6th. You'll hear from a wide range of experts who will provide important information and share ways that you can take action in a meaningful way.
